Tiger Leaping Gorge one day hike-William's Travel

Tiger Leaping Gorge in China is believed to be the deepest gorge in the world and Tiger Leaping gorge hike is considered one of China's best hikes.The mountains on either side of the Tiger Leaping Gorge reach over 5,596 m at their highest point. The dramatic scenery and relaxed hike along the high path through the rural villages of the Naxi minority people make this hiking very enjoyable.The trail starts at Qiaotou and most people finish where the high and low road meet at Tina’s guesthouse, this whole way trek takes around 2 days. For one day elite trek, we will arrange the most beautiful views in it.

Our English speaking tour guide and driver will pick up you from your hotel, then we will make a 2 hours drive to Tiger Leaping Gorge. Start our hiking from the lower road (car drivng road) of Yongsheng village, hike up around 40 minutes then arrive at the high trail. It takes 1.5 hours hiking more to reach the Half-way guests house. Our lunch arranged here and we can have a short break with breath-taking beautiful views. During your hiking, you will see the native people using the route and grazing their animals.After lunch then continue to hike 2 hours more walk through the Guanyin waterfalls and walk down the slope to Tina’s guest house and take our car back to Lijiang. The distance for this hiking is 10 kilometers roughly and it takes around 5 hours hiking.
